I never thought anything like this would happen to me. One night while I was at work, I found out my friend, so young, died in a car crash. I fell completely apart. My world seeped into slow motion and every fiber in my body went paralyzed. I felt no one would understand… except my mother.

I drove slowly home and tried to focus on the road as my eyes began to feel heavy. I made it home, unlocked the door, and made my way up the stairs straight into my mother’s arms. Having something so tragic happen to a daughter would have a mother in a frenzy trying to do the right and stay miles away from the wrong. My mother just has it in her. She knows when to crack that joke and knows exactly when to stay dead silent. She is my backbone.

My mom is strong willed, determined, grateful, and one hundred percent independent. She has not had the easiest life and I think without her relationship with spirituality and grounding she could have easily failed. She has this sense of self refuge that I admire.

She wears this specific facial expression when she finds peace. Eyes closed, a slight smirk, and her head slightly tilted. At those moments, I know she is running through fields of yellows and greens. And I know, she is safe. Even though I do not think I could ever reach meditation to the degree she does, it has helped me to find peace with myself and handle life in a much calmer and rational way.

My mother is the definition of one of a kind. Everything from her smile to her knowledge is unique. She has so much to offer, and the offer will undoubtedly come straight from her heart.

My mom is without question the strongest, wisest, most pleasantly complicated person I have ever came across in my life. I can not think of anything more appropriate for her than sharing herself with those who give her the time to make a profound impact on their lives. Without any hesitation, I promise she will.

I’ve known Lucid since I was 17 years old. Growing up is a very hard process, especially in today’s society. I’ve never really had a big sister that I could look up to and go to for advice. So when I started to work with Lucid, I started to become closer to her. She was so easy to open up to, so easy to approach. Even though she had a lot on her plate, she made it seem like it was a walk in the park.

She’s a remarkable human being. She’s got insight on every issue you can imagine, and she will tell you the truth whether you want to hear it or not. Last but not the least, this is what have I to say for Lucid…

Growing up as a child we are always lost and looking for answers. Every mind that is growing is looking for knowledge whether it is from a book, an adult, a teacher at school, a friend or relative. We are looking for the answer as to why are we here on this earth. Why do I exist? As a child I followed a lot in Lucid’s foot steps. I watched her every move with excitement and inspiration, wondering as to what we would learn next from her guides. What was the next challenge?

I have witnessed so many things that I could write a book on her life story. However, she began to teach me how to get in touch with my own inner guides. This was a hard task for me. I am afraid of anything that I find to be unnatural or as some say super nature.

Growing up with Lucid though, gave me a sense of comfort as to how to accept what came my way. Through knowledge and experiences that I have learned from her, I now can use my inner strength for good and to better my own life.

I plan on continuing my gift along with more teachings from Lucid with hopes that one day my princess inside will be able to use my gift to help others learn why we are all here in this life time.

In June of 2005 my beautiful niece of only six months passed away. I cannot put into words how hard it was for me and my family during this time. Lucid was able to help me to understand why things such as these, as painful as they are, have bigger meanings and are meant to happen even though we may not always understand. I found a new comfort and understanding in spirituality through my talking with her and needing to understand my pain and grief.

Lord knows I’ve known you all my life, that’s for sure! I remember when I first met you…I was in the second grade, and I swear it completely changed my life!! We were soooo young, and sooo innocent, all I knew at the time, was that you were the most exciting kid to play with!!!!

Then one day you opened up to me and told me of things that had happened to you. You told me about “guides” and “other” stories. All I know is whenever I was with you, I felt alive in a way I never did before. It’s funny, cause I could go months or even longer without speaking to you, but when I do, nothing seems different. It is like I am a kid again, and anything is possible.

No other friends have ever had that kind of effect on me. I truly believe a lot of what happened during those wonderful times is what shaped me today. I still feel as though I’m “different” from other people in a strange way. I definitely think you are too. That is what made our friendship what it is. I have known Lucid since 1997, she and I worked together. From the moment I met her I knew she would be a friend, forever. Though I was her Manager, I knew we would learn from each other.

I grew very close to her family, and always thought I was there to help them. But, I must say, I believe she has helped me more.

I have always tried to be a good person and many things in my childhood were very confusing. Emotionally I was in great need of guidance. She is always there for me, and I am proud to say she is a friend.

She was with me through my darkest year. I never thought I would be able to over come the deaths of the 3 most important people in my life besides my children. Within an eight month period I lost my Dad, my Husband, and my Mom. She was with me when my husband died at the hospital. I am not sure how I would have dealt with all of it without LUCID. While I have only known Lucid for almost three years, it feels like I have known her for much longer. I remember thinking the day I met her that she is an extraordinary person and how strength seems to flow in and around her. It always amazes me how she can juggle her hectic life, carefully balancing her busy family life and maintaining her work life - and still seem so grounded! She is the most pleasant person to be around and always makes me laugh.

Words cannot express how grateful I am that she is my best friend’s best friend. They have been through the good times, the bad times, and everything in between and I know life has been better because they have had each other. I can tell when they have been together for a lunch date because Lucid’s warm and calming effect is dangerously contagious and lasts for hours.

Whenever I am troubled, I am told to “Ask Lucid”. All topics are welcomed with open arms - from feeling pressured by the animal shelter to adopt another pet, to troubles at work, to recently when my six-year-old niece was diagnosed with a very serious cancer. Without a doubt, I have always felt better after contacting Lucid.

Knowing Lucid has definitely improved my life. Her kind and compassionate nature makes me strive to be a better person. Her spot on insight never fails to astound me. Her uncanny ability to come up with just the right thing to say at exactly the right time often leaves me speechless. She is truly one of a kind – the best possible kind – and I am honored to call her my friend.
