Why Do You Think Our Pets Have Unconditional Love for Us?

Why do you think our pets have such unconditional love for us?

As long as your at a minimum, a decent care taker, your pet will be by your side to the end. As long as their basic needs are being met, they are yours!
A basic menu for a pet is water, food, and shelter. Add a little love, affection, and leadership and there you have it… A companion that will give you unconditional love!
They do not have high expectations. They are not competitive and jealous in the same sense that we can be, nor are they hateful.
I love my dog. He is great! My heart fills with happiness every time I see him! I think we can have unconditional love for our pets as well. It is a two way street.

I have three cats and one dog, and I love them as though they were my children. They each have their own little personalities. Sometimes I imagine they are my guardian angels.

Good way to look at it. I believe in some ways they are our guardian angels. They certainly protect the family when they can.
They are amazing! I know I have said this before, but I love my pets. They make me so happy!

I live with my sister and BIL and during the weekend a baby turtle showed up on their porch. We live in Florida. This little unexpected guest came for a visit and now they have made an intire bed and breakfast resort for him! LOL He is a Texas Slider. My BIL says he is becoming an expensive guest! They got one tank and then went to a 10 gallon one all in a matter of 3 days. While we eat chicken…… Harvey is dining on shrimp. He loves this little guy. he will depend on him for his meals and everything. Harvey entertains everyone with the things he does.

Isn’t it amazing how we give so much recognition to our pets. You can tell just by the few posts and comments on this site how people really are in love with their extended family; their pets!

There is nothing like my big fat cat curling up with me during the winter. The body heat is a plus!

Oh my the body heat that comes from my dog is better then a heating blanket!!!!! I love when he warms my half of the bed, especailly during the winter….
