Soprano Sitcom Shocker
I am sure, just like everyone else, I am in a state of shock, confusion, and basically disappointed. As I watched the final episode of the Sopranos last night, I clinched my fists and actually developed a few stress hives; for what????!!!!
The way it ended was a terrible tease, and I do not like to be teased! First of all, I thought my cable went out. Then we watched the credits to the end in hopes of some addition, or explanation of this twisted ending.
This is fully why I hate TV, and most of all sitcoms. I don’t do well with the shock factor. Oh well, I just had to vent it. I actually feel my brain trying to make sense of it all, and there is nothing to make sense of! It is fictional, they are not real people! Geeeezzzzz…..I am telling my calculating mind to stop….. {SSSTTTOOOPPPP}
Here is my lesson for the day. If you put your time and effort into something that is not real you could be left drained and confused with a feeling of being cheated. Blechk! I think I am going to stick to the Discovery Channel, at least I actually learn things.

Awwww! Too bad! I think I’m the only person in the US that has never watched a single episode of the Sopranos. I actually hardly ever watch TV. Once and a while on my day off I’ll take to the couch for a few hours and watch something with my girls but mostly I don’t bother. Don’t get me wrong I used to but now it just seems that there is no time for that. So I do remember how it feels when a show you love to watch leaves you high and dry like that and your sitting there scratching your head saying, “Are you kidding me?!” I suggest Reading a book you’ll probably have a better outcome. Nah better yet read blogs

I am not a faithful watcher however I have seen enough episodes to know that when I saw the last one I wanted to throw my shoe at the TV! I am almost pissed. People are saying they may be making a movie. I don’t know if I will go and see it after this…

Loretta you are right people are pissed. I also heard it everywhere yesterday. It felt like no matter where I was, I couldn’t get away from the disappointment. The radio, the TV, the computer! AhhAHhhh
Be glad you didn’t have the HBO lol.

Hi Desiree- I don’t watch much TV either and I think maybe it is good that I don’t. The Sopranos were an exception.
Like I said to Loretta, it was ridiculous how I could not escape EVERYONE’S disappointment. I felt like yelling, “It is only a show people!!!” lol
I actually did do some reading yesterday. I don’t know what my problem is, I get so tired if I read. I want to fall asleep after the first page. It is bad.
And if I am reading on the computer my eyes burn! But I do it anyways. I have found some interesting blogs.
Nice to see you, have a nice day!

I don’t know if I’d watch the movie either Cheri. I think they knew what they were doing when they wrote the ending. I will have to feel it out.
I am glad I did not have my shoes on or I may have thrown it too lol. Just kidding I would have ruined my TV then and the Sopranos are not worth it.
Take care!

I never watched the Sopranos, but my husband did. He was actually one of the people who liked the ending. I saw on the news that the world is divided – those who absolutely hated the ending, and those that liked it. If it were me, I’d have been disappointed, mostly because I don’t like seeing something I have invested so much time in end so abruptly. I like to have things smoothed out, storylines completed. So, I probably would have been upset, too.

We have stopped watching that TV nonsense. Seems your brain is drained to no good end.
I like your blog.

Hello Sophia!
I too like an ironed story. It all makes sense in the end for the most part. I have this need to understand things on a deeper level and when a Cliffhanger comes by and slaps me in the head I get a migraine.

Hi Goatman!
Your right, it can be draining and a waste of time at that. I like shows that offer me a chance to grow intellectually and/or spiritually.
I am glad you like the blog! I appreciate your feed back!
Be well!

I absolutely loved the ending. I figured it would be something like this. Did you notice how they were all in a regular diner and eatinggreasy onion rings? That wouldn’t be Tony the mobster. Maybe it was all a dream, I don’t know. I guess if they make a movie it can answer everyone questions.

You might be onto to something Ami! Your right, why would Tony Soprano be in a regular diner eating onion rings like it was his favorite place. The Bing was his hang out spot
Thanks!
