I always have dreams that happen literally three months later.. but each dream I have, the bad part never happens luckily. But what I hate is these dreams, that I have that happen three months later. It sometimes scares me because the dream would be really bad. I know it’s good that the bad part never comes true.. but should I be worried that one day one dream might have the bad part happen too?

Oh and the sucky part is once I have the dream. I’ll remember it right when I wake up.. but a couple days later.. I start to forget.. Then once that day comes, and something little happens, the memory of that dream triggers, and it comes back to me as if I’m dreaming it again, but it’s just daja vu… and I know when this happens I’m not having seizures. Sooo I don’t know.. Do u think I’m just over thinking stuff, or there’s something really to it.

Lucid’s Thoughts:

Hello Maria Christina, thank you for writing in. Before we begin, I must open this reply with…. Treat yourself to a dream journal. Most of us have dreams that fade out after a short period of time, therefore jotting them down as we have them, can secure a cross reference later on.

Secondly, you may want to go to your local library, or book store, and rent/buy yourself a dream interpretation book. Dreams have so many dimensions, and most aspects of those dreams are symbolic. That being said, what you are perceiving as “bad” may not be at all. I know that what we see, and experience in a dream can feel quite real and seem literal, but you need to learn to look deeper, and past certain objects, and scenes.

I too find that my dreams come true at later dates. I will usually know within one moon cycle, but it can take a quarter, or half a year to occur; that is not abnormal. Again, this is why I am stressing the journal. It really will help you keep your records, and memory in check.

I think when your memory comes flooding in, you relive that dream, but it may not necessarily be Déjà vu. A lot of our dreams are precognitive, and you are probably more sensitive to them, then you realize.

So, to conclude, track yourself with a journal, interpret those dreams, and wait to see how they play out. If something “bad” does happen, just remember you are not the cause. Sometimes we are given a heads up, or a peak into the future to help us prepare for what may lie ahead.

Hope this helps, and thanks again!
