Remebering My Dreams
Maria Christina wrote:
I always have dreams that happen literally three months later.. but each dream I have, the bad part never happens luckily. But what I hate is these dreams, that I have that happen three months later. It sometimes scares me because the dream would be really bad. I know it’s good that the bad part never comes true.. but should I be worried that one day one dream might have the bad part happen too?
Oh and the sucky part is once I have the dream. I’ll remember it right when I wake up.. but a couple days later.. I start to forget.. Then once that day comes, and something little happens, the memory of that dream triggers, and it comes back to me as if I’m dreaming it again, but it’s just daja vu… and I know when this happens I’m not having seizures. Sooo I don’t know.. Do u think I’m just over thinking stuff, or there’s something really to it.
Lucid’s Thoughts:
Hello Maria Christina, thank you for writing in. Before we begin, I must open this reply with…. Treat yourself to a dream journal. Most of us have dreams that fade out after a short period of time, therefore jotting them down as we have them, can secure a cross reference later on.
Secondly, you may want to go to your local library, or book store, and rent/buy yourself a dream interpretation book. Dreams have so many dimensions, and most aspects of those dreams are symbolic. That being said, what you are perceiving as “bad” may not be at all. I know that what we see, and experience in a dream can feel quite real and seem literal, but you need to learn to look deeper, and past certain objects, and scenes.
I too find that my dreams come true at later dates. I will usually know within one moon cycle, but it can take a quarter, or half a year to occur; that is not abnormal. Again, this is why I am stressing the journal. It really will help you keep your records, and memory in check.
I think when your memory comes flooding in, you relive that dream, but it may not necessarily be Déjà vu. A lot of our dreams are precognitive, and you are probably more sensitive to them, then you realize.
So, to conclude, track yourself with a journal, interpret those dreams, and wait to see how they play out. If something “bad” does happen, just remember you are not the cause. Sometimes we are given a heads up, or a peak into the future to help us prepare for what may lie ahead.
Hope this helps, and thanks again!

I agree with Lucid. Its useful to explore some books about dreams. Yet, its even more important to get to know yourself well enough to where you no longer feel dependent on external sources. You will grow to trust your self-understanding.
Your dreams will appear to carry different significance at different phases of your life. How you perceive fear and negative emotions, and, to what degree you permit them to control you, will influence how you intepret your dreams. Your intention in exploring your dreams also determines what (if anything) you will learn from reflecting about them.
As you explore your sense of who you are, I would invite you to this check out:

Not only are dream journals useful, but I find it is fun sometimes to go back and read through the dreams I had in the past. It’s like the subconscious’s diary.

Hi Lucid,
I believe in dreams. They offer us a glimpse into a dual reality. Sometimes that reality can be too much for our waking consciousness that’s why it’s spoon-fed to us in a dream. It almost feels surreal doesn’t it.
I liked your suggestions and I would even add that Maria could get a small tape recorder to record her dreams immediately when she wakes up. It has worked for me in the past.
Have a terrific week and please be sure to check out my new blog;

Hello Liara Good morning!!!!
Words from the Dream Builder herself!!! This is good advice to this reader. I like that you mentioned how knowing yourself will eventually help you interpret theses dreams without books or outher sources! It is such a wonderful discovery when one gets to this point!
Thank you for your additional thoughts!!! Have a great day!

Hi Sophia!
I use to keep a dream journal (faithfully) Then as my life got more complicated going to work, and having small kids with a household to run, it just became too difficult. I know one may say it only takes a few minutes, but sometimes those minutes are gobbled up quickly lol. I have tried to keep a faithful journal, but I must be honest and admit…. the idea of it is better then actually doing it. I will jot down ones here and there, Thank God I have a great memory (lolol )

Ahhh Alexys!!! That is a great suggestion!!! I have not thought about recording instead of writing… Hmmm I just said to Sophia that I find it hard to find the time to write. OOOooo … I may try this. I can even talk on the recorder on my way into work.. Thank you so much for the idea!!!!!
I will check out your new blog!!! Have a wonderful day!

Morning Mark!
Yes, when I have to write something down, my attention is then focused and this allows me to create a greater awareness of what I am doing. It helps me to remember. I even do this at work when we have meetings. I jot down notes, so that it becomes concrete!
Be Well

I definitely think dreams are either messages that are important from Spirit - or your subconscious dredging up stuff that needs to be healed in some way OR is just something really on your mind…

Hello Loving Annie!!!
You are right, I also believe what goes undone while awake will continue to be worked out as we sleep. That sub-mind of ours is like a huge file bank of info, and has the ability to solve almost anything
. . . almost lol…
Have a great weekend!!!!
