Reading The Secret at Page 45.
I am a slow reader, but I purposely am going slow to absorb. I stopped at page 45. This is my interpretation of “The Secret” in a nut shell:
What I have gathered from my readings, is that our thoughts are so powerful, they actually create our reality; our lives.
Whether your thoughts are good or bad, the Law is what it is.
Everything starts with a thought, and your feelings gage the frequency they/you are on.
What we put out there is what the universe gives us, whether we are aware of it or not.
My thoughts and creations are and will always be health, happiness, and youthfulness. I will now try and open myself to the focused awareness of my thoughts and implement them on all of the above and more.
I want my work here on these sites to do well. My goal is to eventually do spiritual work fulltime. The money that would be needed to sustain that and my family sometimes feels like an unachievable goal because I rely on tips/donations, which is far and few inbetween. But, with my new way of thinking, I believe it will be possible! Why? Because I deserve it, and I am ready to receive

I have tried to read this book. I found it to be very repeatitive (sp) especailly in the beginning and I lost interest. I will continue to look forward to your thoughts, ok

I wish you all of the best of luck with this site. I agree, you do deserve this and with time and your dedication to this site I think it will ultimately happen. I’ll come back to check up on how you have been doing.

You will receive what you desire! The key is to focus on what you want and not worry about the how!
The audio version of the book is also a great way to learn the lessons provided in the book.

Beth, yes I have noticed it to be alittle repetitious. It seems different people are giving their views and opinions, and they all seem to fall under the same umbrella so…. But I will continue on. I have been so busy at work, I have yet to read more.

That’s a good idea Mark. I think I am going to read the book to get familiar with it all, and then maybe do the audio so that it may sink it that much more.
I am trying to focus and fine tune my desires. I know what I want, I am just not sure how to get there, and I know you said not to worry about the how… so I am trying to let go of it.
