My Dad Passed Away Just Before Christmas

It was so real and I just want to know if there is anything that this may mean! Also my uncle died 9 years ago (whom I was also very close to) and a few years ago I had a dream of him with grey hair! All I can remember about it, is that he put his hand on my shoulder and the next day when I woke I got this great sense that everything was going to be ok! I was sitting exams at the time! Would he have been visiting me?

Hi Laura, let me start off by saying, “ I am sorry for the loss of your uncle, but most recently your dad!” It is very hard when we lose someone close to us, especially our parents!
I am a firm believer that we can and will see our loved ones in our dreams. It is the easiest, and probably the most safest way to visit with someone. I also believe that our loved ones are not too far away, and know what is going on in our life at all times.
Dad probably knew how much he was being missed and met up with you for a reconnection session. He took you to places that were familiar because there is comfort and peace felt in places that represent good memories. And, while on your travels, your dad stopped by to see his friend; why not right?
I think it was nice that you were able to go do the things you use to do. It is gift when we can be in the presence of a loved one who has passed.
As for your uncle, seeing him with gray hair probably represented the fact that he is distinguished and a elder; a respectful trusted figure in your life. I believe he put his hand on your shoulder as a sign of comfort, and to let you know he was by your side. I would definitely say it is possible he too came to see you.
Not every dream you have of a loved one will it mean you were in their presence, but when you are, there is no questioning it. It sounds to me like you were visited, and what a neat thing that is!
