That is true, they do play on distraction (all senses included), and power of suggestions is strong!

I have a friend who is a part-time magician for birthday parties. He does traditional tricks with cards, the rabbit out of the hat, and a number of other tricks which may be familiar to people who watch magic shows. These kinds of performances challenge your perception at a different level than the illusions in this example by Chris Angel:

In generl, the more a magician plays with your senses, the more distracted you may be from what an illusionist is really doing. If you’re skeptical about tricks, then you’ll assume guarded secrets and refuse to believe anyway. if you want to believe in something, then you will.

Glad to see your back. I will try and stop by your new site! I am at work at the moment so I can’t, but I will over the weekend.

I watched a small magic show in my early twenties. It was so predictable….. lol it was more like a comedy show. It is entertaining though! …. Life can be magical at times, on all levels.
