Love Letters
It doesn’t matter if you are in the Elementary, Middle School, High School, College or married for 25 years, love letters are the most exciting thing to receive. The curiosity of when and how you will receive them just adds to the excitement.
Once in your possession, the butterflies begin to flutter in your belly. As you eagerly go through the opening ceremony, your careful not to rip the letter. Tearing open an envelope is fun, but unwrapping the notes that come in that tightly folded square are the best!
What is it about love letters that we all like so much? Well, the name of them alone may give reason. You know when you receive a note from a loved one it is being sent with just that; love! You look forward to the kind words, and expression of ones’ deepest emotions. You know that most likely they will incorporate some nice things about you, and why they love you so much. This turns the butterflies into a warm fuzzy feeling, which travels around the body with every heart beat, until a complete feeling of intoxication comes over you. This happens because the words are written with feelings, and a powerful exchange of energy.
Everyone needs to be loved. Everyone needs to feel appreciated and wanted. Send your loved one a love letter today; don’t delay! Hey, maybe you will get one in return.

Hi Lucid,
Love letters are little packets of love that you can keep forever. Tangible proof that someone was thinking of you and expressed it in such a way to give you butterflies. I used to write love letters all the time, now I just blog to spread the love even further.
Good topic. Great blog.

This is a beautiful topic, Lucid. I used to enjoy getting love letters so much! Now that I’ve been married for five years I have almost forgotten what it felt like to receive one, although from time to time my husband will write a few words down. Secret admirer letters are fun, too, as long as they’re not creepy.
I have to admit that it is nice to know I’ve been thought about in a positive way, and what is more positive than love?

Hi Alexys!
Nicely put…”little packets of love that you can keep forever” just reading the three simple words “I love you” can make the heart go into a spinning vortex of feelings.
Yes, bloging is a great way to express our thoughts and feelings. It is a nice way to bring together people with like minds.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and thanks for your compliment! I appreciate it!

Sophia, I have been married for 18 years, and my husband still drops me cards for no other reason then to let me know that he loves me. Still to this day, I get a smile that extends from one ear to the other as I am opeing the envelope. It is the little things that mean so much!
And yes, there is nothing more positive than love!
Thanks again!

I too love to write and receive Love letters. They are great! They do make on feel elated. I love your suggestion that we should all take time to put pen to paper and send a love letter. If you don’t have a romantic relationship right now, send one to a parent or sibbling to express your love.
If you are trying to attract a love into your life, write a love letter to the lover whom you seek and send it to the Universe and watch the magic happen.
Great post!

OMG I remember my first love letter. I was sooo nervous I held onto it and didnt open it until the next day. I was in the sixth grade. Everytime I went to open it my heart skipped a beat and my fingers froze.

That is a great suggestion Mark. A love letter can be written to anyone you love! It does not have to be limited to a lover, or an intimate relationship.
Thanks for that second suggestion, and yes to visualize your perfect mate, is the perfect thing to do.
{Well no one is perfect, but everyone knows what I mean}
Have a great day!

Hello Paige,
It is a bitter sweet thing. If your with the one you currently love and he or she finds old love notes, they may be offened and a fight can occur. At the same time, you don’t want to throw them away because you are chucking memories. YOur partner “should” understand they are just that…memories. (It doesn’t always work this way)
I guess it would all depend on your partner and to what length you would go to jkeep them.
Thanks you for sharing!
