Déjà vu at its Finest!
Many of us have our own theories on what déjà vu is and why we have it. My personal thoughts on the subject are as follows:
We all have a life plan that we create for ourselves before we transition to this earth plane; a blue print if you will. Contained in this architectural layout are specifically marked time periods that will not and can not be changed; they are like check points.
We have a veil or better yet, a state of amnesia placed upon us before exiting the spirit world. This is done so that our prior lives or existence of the spirit world do not interfere with the current life being placed before us.
Our “free will” allows us to make decisions and changes that effect certain aspects and outcomes of our lives. However, there are distinctive points of our life that are placed there for “destiny” reasons; without them in place too many errors and faults could occur.
Some say déjà vu is a glimpse into the future seconds before it happens, a feeling like the event happened already, or it feels strangely familiar. Well, indeed it is futuristic and familiar, but not because it is necessarily a precognitive event.
Sometimes the events at the “check points” are so strong, it causes our veil to be lifted for a very short period of time. On a spiritual level, the importance of the event taking place is quite marked. As for the veil, it is weakened by the strength of the occurrence.
When déjà vu happens, it is actually a “memory”. It is a flash back of what you created, for yourself, in your “blue prints”. Déjà vu is a moment in time; present, remembering the pre-existence/ past, and experiencing the future all at once for only a few very short seconds. And, this tells us we are where we were suppose to be, at the exact moment, in that exact place; good, bad or indifferent, and that things are going according to plan.

Hi Lucid,
I like your explanation. I agree.
I was just talking about this with a friend. He said that he didn’t believe in it, but he did believe in “Vuja Day,” which means nothing like this has ever happened before.
I guess he was trying to be funny.
Excellent post.

It really is the strangest thing when this happens. There are feelings that go along with the memory…. There is nothing like it
Have a nice day Alexys!

Lucid,
I never looked at Deja vu this way before. Thank-you for creating awareness for me!

Life’s mysteries and messages are wonderful – you explained deja vu well, Lucid… That connection with ‘knowing’ is precious, as is so much when we are truly open to hearing, sensing, feeling, and listening….

This is such fascinating topic, Lucid
And it’s so wonderful that the scientific community is engaged in the process of determining the source of deja vu right along with mystics and paranormal investigators! I was reading a medical study that has (so far) determined about 4 different kinds of deja vu. Some can be readily traced to biological functioning. The amagala (??? It’s early and I’m going from memory) part of the brain (the frontal lobe), when washed with a certain chemical, will produce the deja vu effect. I believe this is the area of the brain associated with short term memory. And they’ve discovered a sort of convulsion of the brain that triggers deja vu as well, a sort of electro-chemical misfiring like an epileptic fit, in schizophrenics. But there is still another entire realm of deja vu experiences that they haven’t been able to get their medical grasp around.
I rarely have deja vu moments myself, but when I do have them, it’s definitely a trip. Whether there is a scientific reason or a metaphysical one, it sure is a fun thing to experience!
Thanks for your take on it!

Hi Mark!!! Good afternoon to you
This is one of the reasons why I really enjoy reading the spiritual blogs. I like to listen/read other peoples view on things; some I agree and some I don’t.
Awareness is a beautful thing!!! Have a great weekend

Good afternnon Loving Annie how are you!!!???
You know that feeling is quite special. I don’t have it too often but when I do, it leaves a profound effect. It is such a unique feeling, I have a hard time explaining it with just one word. But it is like you said, if all of your senses are open it is that more precious!
Thank you for peaceful addition!

Hello Grace, how are you??
You have brought up good points!!! I have seen short programs on this topic as well. I know some believe it is a lapse of preception. (As if it takes a few more split seconds to register the event) Washing the brain with the fliud induces “like” feelings and events, but it is not natural. I think the brain will definitely show signs that can be measured if it is receiving messages of any kind. It’s crazy….. I try to leave myself open to all possiblities.
Have a great weekend and thank you for taking this at another angle

Deja-vu is indeed a fascinating subject. thanks for bringing that up, Lucid! In addition to your perspective, I also think a person’s understanding of this idea relates to self-awarness and to what degree a person views time and space as creative inventions or illusions. To believe we have seen something before can also relate to flashbacks of past experiences, insight into past lives and tapping into deeper memories.

Good morning Liara!
Thank you for your deep insightful addidtion! I also believe that self awareness brings more attention and meaning to the deja vu experiences.
Have a wonderful day!!!!!
