Clairvoyance, according to the Encarta World English Dictionary, is the supposed ability to see things beyond the range of normal vision.

*Examples of this would be precognitive dreams and visions.

The extrasensory perception that a Clairvoyant has has been recognized and questioned for thousands of years.

 Some of the popular questions are listed below:

1. Why do some people have the ability and some do not?
2. What is it that allows one to have these prophetic dreams and visions?
3. Is it a gift from God and the heavens, or is it of Satan?

I believe we are all equipped with the ability to develop this ESP(Extrasensory Perception). It is a matter of keeping yourself aware of all things that surround us in life. We need to be aware of what is in front of us, the sides of us, and even behind us. Most people go through the day, just paying attention to, what is directly in front of their face. If we advance our five senses, the sixth one tends to make an appearance.

Having a heighten awareness of our environment during our awakened state of mind, helps to bring awareness to our other states of consciousness. An example of this would be the development of lucid dreaming. Being aware and having clarity while you dream makes dream interpretation a little easier. Keeping a dream journal, and recording the different dreams you have can help keep track of your accuracy. 

I also feel the “Gift” is neutral. Whether it is used for good or not, depends on the individual experiencing it, and what they do with it.

Clairvoyants have been used as a window, so that people could take a peek into the future.

Throughout time, all kinds of people ranging from Kings and Queens, Religious Leaders, High Society Members, and average-everyday people, have relied on information, which was taken from the messages, received from Clairvoyants.

Some of these would include, but were not limited to:

• Judging how the harvest would go for that year/season.
• Wars, and their outcome
• Fertility for procreation
• Rulers who would reign over the land
• Prophets and preachers who were worthy of teaching the Gospel
• Plagues

For some, it is a way of life, and is utilized on a daily basis. Warnings of accidents, illness, poor judgment, and unwarranted weather are just a few of the circumstances, where people have used Clairvoyant messages, to step out of harms way.

Other incidences where these kinds of messages have been helpful are the right career move, heads up on a promotion, relocation of residency, or a missing item that needs to be found.
