Are Spirits Bound to Earth If They Commit Suicide?

I heard spirits are bound to earth if they commit suicide, is this true?

Lucid’s Thoughts:
Hi Mary, welcome. Suicide is a very sensitive, and complex subject. I will lead this answer by saying…. It is my opinion and belief that no spirits are permanently bound to earth.

When someone takes their life, for whatever reason, it is considered an interference of the life plan. This usually means you have not completed the challenges that you set for yourself before you got here.

I believe those troubled souls will have the opportunity to complete their lessons, whether it be to come here again, or in the after life. It is a long hard process. We should pray for their peace and ability to be receptive to guidance, so they can move forward and heal.

You may be interested by perspectives offered in a book called “Survival kit for the hearafter” by South African psychic medium Belinda Silbert. It astounds me this mystic is also a professional opera singer and medium. What an intriguing combination!

Good morning Liara!

He sounds very interesting, I may get the book myself. I am not surprised that this man is a signer, and opera just confirms…. I am not big into most operas, however I was brought up by a man who love Carmina Burana. It is because of my dad’s love for the peice that I now love it too. I saw it in concert this past fall… Ahhhh it was great, and the energy the signers projected with their voices gave me constant chills…. It was as if they were throwing out universal energy/life source from their breath… It was crazy….

You are right the process is a long hard one, but they will get the chance to make things right. Praying for those who have passed this way is the BEST thing one can do. Alot of the time the survivors hold guilt and sorrow. They feel a sense of responsibilty for their loved ones actions. When they do this, it holds the person who has passed captive in their missery that much longer.

Just to clarify Lucid, the author of the book I mentioned is female. Her life does sound intriguing. She talks extensively about her own communications with spirits, including those which committed suicide on the physical plane. My view on this matter is many misconceptions and misunderstandings exist. We each choose what we will believe.
