Moriah Developed a Fever

We had a bit of a scare this morning. Moriah woke with a fever of 103.5. She has been admitted to the hospital and her fever was down to 98.8 on the last update I received. She’ll be in the hospital until her blood counts are back up. We’ll see what happens in the next few days. She seemed to be settling in at the hospital and was talking and playing her Nintendo DS.

Oh no, why did she get a fever? Is she sick or is here body rejecting treatment?
The poor thing. At least she has her games I am sure they are helping to distract her.

I hope she is feeling better. I read her care page, it seems she is doing alittle better. She is in my thoughts always!!!!

Riah is going much better! She’ll be coming home from the hospital today. They don’t know what caused the fever, but her temp has been normal since yesterday afternoon. She’s due to start the second round of chemo early next week, and the doctor anticipates this round will be easier for her.
