Do You Believe Our Pets Watch Over Us

My sister and I went to our friends’, friends’ house. (This was the first time meeting her) We had to all walk through the kitchen to get to the back yard. As I walked, I saw a big-tan dog from the corner of my eye laying under the table. I am usually nervous around dogs of that size, but with this one I was not. I just smiled and kept on walking.

Once we got outside and seated, I mentioned how I thought the dog was beautiful. The girl looked at me and said, “What dog?” I said, “The big one that was under the table.” She looked at me with her head slightly tilted and a face of confusion. I was thinking to myself, “Did I say something wrong?”

She lit her cigarette and said, “Are you sure you saw a dog?” I said, “I am pretty sure!” She then asked me, “What color was he?” I replied, “He was a nice tan, why?!”
She got up from her chair and went back inside. I was now confused myself. Why was she acting weird and where did she go?!

A few minutes later she came back out. She was holding a picture in her hand. She asked me, “Is this the dog you saw?” I looked at it and said, “I believe so, why?” She sat down and said,” He was the best dog I have ever had. He passed away a few years ago, but I could swear I still feel him around from time to time.”

Well, we were all floored. I guess this confirmed her feelings of him being around. It made her feel good knowing he is still with her. It bought tears to her eyes, but they were happy tears.

I believe that animals have strong connections to us. And I do believe they, like other loved ones who have passed, watch over us and await our arrival.

My Wife Passed Away Last Month…

David F Wrote:
Hello Lucid, My wife passed last month. We just had a beautiful baby girl. I have had several 3d in color dreams with her and found several pennies. Lately I keep hearing voices in my head. They are always comforting, but I wonder if it’s just me or maybe my wife. Is there a way to tell the difference?

Lucid’s Thoughts:
Hello David, I am so sorry to hear of your loss!!!! My heart goes out to you and your family!!!! It is not easy being a single parent especially in this case. I wish for you strength and stamina! Let those who are around you support and assist you.

Dreams are a way of communicating with those who have passed on. They are also the minds’ way of sorting and making sense of things that may not be so easy to do while we are awake.

I believe we visit our loved ones in our dreams, so it is possible she has visited. You said this all just happened a month ago. You heart is still aching and your wound is wide open. She knows this and may be trying to give you some comfort. I can not say for sure if the voices you are hearing are hers, or if it is your memory of her that is comforting you.

For me, usually with a visitation, whether it be a dream or a voice, a feeling comes along with it that is not easily described. This is a helpful tool for me when trying to validate the authenticity of the visit. Keep your mind open to signs of validation.

Grieving is a very personal thing, and we all do it in different ways. Give yourself some time. I believe we live on past this physical world, but I also know it is easy to get caught up between our world and theirs. Keeping her close in your mind & soul while you heal may ease some of the void which is good, but remember you have yourself and your beautiful little one to care for too.

Blessings to you, your daughter, and extended family!!!!

I Almost Lost My Mom to Cancer…

KaMayla Wrote:
Dear Lucid, Two years ago I almost lost my mother to lung cancer, she made it through, and for the past week I have been dreaming that she is dying and I’m right there and can’t stop it no matter what she always dies. She is really important to me and we are really close and it scares me so much at the thought of losing her again. What does this dream mean?

Lucid’s Thoughts:
Hello KaMayla, thank you for writing in!
Let me open this response by saying I am glad to hear your mom has won her battle against cancer! I think your dream is quite literal, and it is being driven directly from your fear of losing her. You came close to losing her already, so the thought of it happening again is extremely frightful.

Death is not only an uncomfortable topic, it is down right scary! It is something we will all have to face at one time or another in our lives. Try to shift your fears of losing mom, and take in the time you do have with her. You have been given this time to make more wonderful memories, so enjoy her!!!! I know it can be overwhelming, and the anxiety that goes along with it can be quite consuming…

Blessings to you, your mom, and family!! Be well!

Will I Meet the Guy…

Will I meet the guy who is far away and unreachable, but also calling me unconsciously?

Lucid’s Thoughts:
Hi Guney, thanks for writing in!
I believe there is a partner for all of us! Try to shift your train of thought. Try to experiment by envisioning what your ideal partner would be like; see their face, their smile… try to see if you can even sense their vibe. From here know that this person exists and that all things are possible. Sometimes we are so entangled in the idea of what we want, we tend to not appreciate the process, and it is in this process that we can figure out if what we want is truly what would make us happy.

Most of our manifestations begin with a thought or dream…. Good luck and have fun!!!! I am sure you will find the guy of your dreams.
