Meeting Your Angels

How and when you meet your guides/angels is a very personal choice. Not everyone is ready at the same time, but you will know when you are.

Usually an instinctive feeling will come over you and you will get a nagging feeling like you should be doing something. Believe me, when it’s your time, they will be there with open arms of love, patience and understanding.

Our guides/angels have been there all of our life, just waiting for the opportunity to have a formal “sit-down”. Our guides/angels get so thrilled when they are finally able to guide and lead us in the right direction. I mean, they do this regardless of what we want, but it definitely is nicer when the two parties are communicating between each other.

Being that there are many ways to officially “meet” your guides/angels, you will need to figure out what is best for you.

Spiritual Suggestion:

You may want to try one of the following methods:

Mediation:
Meditation is always a good way to visit anyone on the higher or outer realm. Try and find some music that you like; make it one that will calm your mind and nerves.  I recommend music because it has a life of its own. And, that life source of energy helps to open our channel of communication.

Vision yourself in peaceful surroundings, one where you will feel safe. For some of us this will be the ocean, for others it may be the forest.

Take your time, and be patient. Once there, feel the love and security that surrounds you; it will be your safety net.

Ask to see them, tell them you are ready to formally introduce yourself and vice versa. Wait for your response. You may have to repeat this a few times. If it does not work right away, you may have to do this ritual for a few days until you see results. You may think your ready, but they know if you are really or not.

Again, just be patient and trust in the timing.

Dreams:
Dreaming is another way to meet with your guides/angels, it may be even more fun then meditation. Letting your subconscious mind take over and do what comes naturally may turn out to be more of an adventure.

Before going to bed at night, ask to see them. Tell them you would like to meet with them in your dreams. Tell them you would like to formally introduce yourself and vice versa.

This may also take a few attempts before getting a result. The most important thing to say as you are falling asleep is to remember the visit! If you do not remember the visit, how can you know for sure that you had your “meeting”?

Through a Psychic Channel:
Another way to meet your guides is through a Medium/Psychic. Though it will be done through a third party, it is possible.

I recommend trying it yourself first for a couple of reasons. One, you have a stronger more intimate experience with them. Two, if you do it yourself you will not be charged monetarily. But, if you find you have tried several times, and have no one in your life that can help assist you out of the kindness of their heart, try a Medium/Psychic.

Again, I am stressing the patience aspect of this whole process. Use the services of a Medium/Psychic as a last resort, if for no other reason then missing out on the in-depth personal feelings that come with the visitation when it is one on one.

When they come to you:
Some of us will experience a voice, or a deep set inner feeling which seems to come out of the middle of no-where.

This usually happens when you’re ready and you do not realize it; they will make themselves known to you! They will make the first move in hopes of you acknowledging them. Most of the time there is no ignoring them. They come with such strength in their energy; the hairs on your body may stand to attention.

Consider yourself lucky if they make the first move; if they had not, you would still be in the dark.

No matter how or when you decide to meet your guides/angels it is an experience you will not forget. You may have several meetings with them before you feel them fully at your side. This is ok, some of us need to go through this process in stages. The accuracy and energy that comes with them being in your life can be a little over whelming at times, especially in the beginning.

Just trust in yourself and the guidance they provide, they are there to help you while you travel on your life journey.

Deja Vu

Some say deja vu is a glimpse into the future seconds before it happens, a feeling like the event happened already, or it feels strangely familiar. Well, indeed it is futuristic and familiar, but not because it is necessarily a precognitive event.

I believe deja vu is actually a memory. It is a flash back of what you created, for yourself, in your blue prints.

We all have a life plan that we create for ourselves before we transition to this earth plane. There are specifically marked time periods that will not and can not be changed; they are like check points.

Sometimes the events at the check points are so strong; it causes our veil to be lifted for a very short period.

Deja vu is the moment in time; present, remembering the pre-existence past, and experiencing the future all at once, for only a few very short seconds. And, this tells us we are where we’re supposed to be, at that exact moment, in that exact place; good, bad or indifferent and that life is going according to plan.

Chakras

Chakras are spinning wheels of energy. These energy centers are found through out the body starting near the base of the spine, which go straight up to top of the head. The vortex draws in energy from the earth and/or universe. Each one spins independently and at its own speed. Just as the physical body has internal organs to keep us alive and running smoothly, the etheric/energy body is regulated by the Chakras.

There are seven Chakras. Listed below are their names and functions:

  1. Root Chakra- Located at the base of the spine near the tail bone. This is where your sense of stability and security come from. Your physical connection to the mother earth and your competence to succeed in the material world are governed in this Chakra.
  2.  Sexual Chakra- Located just under your belly button. This is where your emotions, sense of self, self esteem, self value, and sexuality are balanced.
  3. Solar Plexus Chakra- Located right below the breast bone. This is where your receptivity to your higher power is. You may receive intuitive messages through here. It is also where you feel/get your inner strength, courage and sense of accomplishment.
  4. Heart Chakra- Located in the center of the chest. This is where your ability to love and be loved are regulated. Compassion also comes from this Chakra.
  5. Throat Chakra- Located where the bottom of your neck meets the collar bone. It is here, where your creativity and capability to communicate through written word or speech is regulated.
  6. Third Eye Chakra- Located in the center of the forehead. This is the area where the gift of clairvoyance comes from; being able to see visions, have precognitive dreams and messages.
  7. Crown Chakra- Located at the back of the head where a high pony tail would be worn. This Chakra is the door to universal love and energy.  Connecting to your higher self and deeper levels of wisdom is also available at this location.

There is a lot to learn from your Chakras and the speeds in which they are spinning. If the wheel is spinning too fast you may have a feeling of anxiety and may burn out. If the wheel is spinning too slowly, you may feel blocked or sluggish.

One example of this would be:

Finding out you were sick with an illness, and then having to tell a loved one. If you get a feeling in your throat like it is closing in on you and it almost hurts, your Throat Chakra needs to speed up its pace.

Spiritual Suggestion:

You can use visualization to do a self evaluation and see which areas you may need to be sped up or slow down. In the example given above, the Throat Chakra should be focused on. Visualize the wheel spinning. Try to speed up the rotation, thus allowing a more gentle-uncluttered flow of energy. The ability to communicate should come with more ease.

Pain Management

Pain, according to the Dorland’s Pocket Medical Dictionary, 24th Edition is defined as, a feeling of distress, suffering, or agony caused by the stimulation of specific nerve endings.

Any form of pain is distressing, but chronic pain can tear your life apart. It can make you depressed, bitter, inverted; even suicidal. Pain is not only felt physically, it can be felt emotionally. Pain has the ability to leave scares on our psyche. Learning how to deal with and manage pain is a crucial part of keeping up the quality of life.

Pain is the body’s way of alerting us that something is not right. When you experience a paper cut on your finger, pain signals go to the brain. The brain releases a substance called endorphins, which are the body’s natural opiate/pain killers. The pain usually subsides on its own with out needing an artificial drug to assist in pain relief.

When artificial opiates, like heroin and morphine are introduced to the body for a long period of time, the brain can stop producing its own natural opiate. When this happens, it creates a dependency for the artificial substance. When the body does not receive these drugs, it can go into a state of withdrawal.

For specific conditions like labor and delivery or the pain that comes after surgery, alternative pain relief is ideal because these situations are only temporary. If you are dealing with a long term or terminal illness where pain is involved, alternative methods can be used with traditional-modern medications. Unfortunately, when pain is so severe, you may have no other choice but to use both methods to manage your pain.

Some alternative methods of pain management are listed below:

  • Acupuncture, a Chinese practice, is where thin needles are used to pierce areas of the body along the peripheral nerves to relieve and block pain.
  • Electroshock Therapy uses an electrical current to change the pain signals that are going to the brain.
  • Hypnosis, which is a passive state of mind, allows increased responsiveness to suggestions or commands. This works by being able to disassociate from the pain.
  • Relaxation or Massage Therapy helps relieve pain by releasing tension in the muscles. When pain is present, we tend to tense up, which can increase the pain.
  • Meditation and Visualization are also good for pain management. With a relaxed state of mind and body you can accept the pain as it comes and visualize it flowing right back out, letting it go.

Spiritual Suggestion:

Though most of these techniques will cause no harm, you may want to consult with your physician before beginning any alternative methods of therapy. Your doctor should know any medications you are taking, prescription or over the counter. They should also know of any natural herbs, oils or pills that are on your list of healing remedies.
