Was it Magic
When I was five years old, I had a small group of friends that I played with. We lived in a rather large apartment complex, and all of the moms would take turns watching each others kids. If I was by my friends side of the building, her mom would watch us, and vice versa.
Most children, at one time or another, will think they have some form of magic. I too believed I possessed such great powers. I mean, being that my cousins would have me turn into a dog named Fido every time I visited them, (Don’t ask.)I figure I was special.
One sunny afternoon, we were all gathered on my side of the complex. I looked at my friends and told them I had powers. Of course their reaction was, Yea, right! Hmmm, I wonder what made them say that?
While trying to convince them otherwise, I was laughing to myself, and thinking of how I was going to show off these amazing powers I thought I had. I said to them, If you don’t believe me watch, I am going to make is snow.?
Now, in my head I was thinking how this was going to really happen. It was in the middle of May, and warm out.
While pondering on my plans, I heard my friends snickering behind me with such lack of faith; that’s when I said to myself, I will show them!
I turned to them and said, watch, here I go. I took a few steps forward onto the grass. My hands were raised in a V as I looked up at the heavens and said, Let it snow!?
While still holding my hands in the air, I turned my head slightly to see if they were still there witnessing my moment of juvenile insanity, and they were. They were looking up at the sky smiling. I was not sure if they were making fun of me or what. And then, there it was, a snow flake fell past my face; it began to flurry! I could not believe it! (I wonder if this is how Storm from X-Men found her ability to manipulate the weather lol)
I told my friends I had to go home. I went running up my stairs. My mom was looking out the window, watching the snow falling, so I went over to her and told her I made it snow. She told me she believed me. (Mom’s are great for reassurance, even if they themselves are not sure lol)
Now, whether or not I actually had any influence on the weather, we will never know, but that night was the first night where an angel came to visit me. (That is another story)

Hi Lucid!
Yes I have read this, but it was good to read it again. I like your humor. I don’t know about “Storm” but it sounds like you had an awsome experience yourself. Were there any other weather moving moments?

If I would of told my mum I had magical powers and made the snow come in May I think she would have sent me straight to the room for lying. I think its great that your mum stood by you! I bet that has made all the difference.

This was your first experience with an angel? What happened if you don’t mind me asking?
I haven’t had much experiences with the paranormal. I grew up most bof my life a non believer. I only started opening up my mind these past few years.
Looking forward to hearing about some of your experiences

Lucid,
You showed them,or should I say “snowed” them. Were your friends afraid of you after that or did they want you to do more magic? I remember having a magic kit when I was a child. I did card tricks, made coins disappear, etc. I was a lot of fun.

Hi Cheri, lol there was one other time and it wasn’t exactly an influence.
I was running home from the store with my cousin because it was thundering and lightening out pretty bad. I held her hand and told her, “My powers will save us, don’t worry!” I think we were like 8 or 9 years old.
Maybe I did think I was related to Storm lol.. Was she even a character then?????

Hello Bettie,
Yes I feel very fortunate that my mother was open minded enough to listen and not shut me down. Lord knows she could have commited me a few times lol. I think if it wasn’t for the fact that other people have been by myside experiencing these things with me, I’d be questioning myself.
Have a nice day!

Hey Randy! How are ya? Yes, I will write about my first experience with this angel but now is not the time
I want to get the other posts from my other blog on here first, and I want to do it gradually so that it doesn’t overwhelm this site.
Glad your looking forward to reading the posts. Some of them I know you have read… Some not…
Talk to you soon!

Hello Alexys!
You know what… truthfully I must say I don’t remember much about my friends at this point. I know at that moment they were a lil feaked but I think as children we shrug off such things almost like they are normal because we don’t know exactly that they are not…
I never really involved them in any other experiences. I just remember talking to my mom and cousins from that point on. I actually became shy about what I was experiencing. My comfort did not come until years later.
The only real magic tricks I did was one a friend showed me with cards… It is so funny because really, if you watch it closely, the formula is so obvious lol
Gosh I miss being a kid sometimes! Thanks for your lil joke. It made me smile! Be well!

It’s okay, I thought I could fly! For real and for a very long time. I probably jumped out of one too many trees and I’m lucky I didn’t break my arm or something -lol-

Your funny Loretta! I instantly had a visual and it put a smile on my face
I would never climb a tree now that I am older, but as a child I lived in them. Isn’t it amazing how things change. I never jumped out of one myself but you are lucky you didn’t break anything… Hey maybe you were flying lol
Have a great day!
