Grace Asks:
Lucid, I have a question maybe you can answer for me regarding “psychics”.

When a psychic volunteers a particular “future”, how much of that can be influenced by things surrounding the people involved, and how ‘fluid’ is the future?

When I was in the church, people were always ‘prophesying’ to each other. It was my position that any prophesy or vision was just a ’snapshot’ of a possible future based upon present condition; change one thing in the “present” and the future can change.

Lucid’s Thoughts:
Hello Grace,

I thought this was an excellent question. I often hear a lot of people talking about this subject. This is why I decided to post it.

Our lives are so complex, and have so many different aspects. Depending on what area you are talking about matters. People both directly, and indirectly effect our lives, therefore I would have to say, they can definitely have an influence over our future.

When we talk about our self, our inner being, we have the most control over what happens with us personally in the future. When we extend our personal life and discuss our family, our jobs, our community etc, the more the outside world and others have a part.

I believe in destiny as well as free will. I believe there are defined times in our life that will come. Our free will is how we get there, and how we handle it. This variance is what can change the future of that particular moment.

I believe most of our future is fluid, but as we are swimming through it, we will hit solid matter. This I believe, are our major life lessons, and can not be avoided. We can try and deny them, work around them, but they will come back until we face them.

When a psychic/prophet sees into the future, they are given that information based on the here and now. Soooo, my answer to you is yes, the future can change, and we do have a lot of influence over it. Everything has a cause and effect, with out it where would we be?
