A Walk in Their Shoes #2
“Mrs. QRS is here again with her stories, doesn’t she have something better to do then come here every day?” {Gee Whiz!}
- No one took the time to see why Mrs. QRS seemed to hang around and tell her stories all the time. They do not give her the opportunity to express herself in full, because if they had, they would have heard her say, “ I lost my husband of 37 years, and I am not quite sure how to put my life back together. I can’t seem to be around the friends we shared, it hurts too bad. I know I need to see and speak to people; that is why I come here so often. Everyone is so nice to me; it makes me happy, even if it is only for the ten minutes that I am here, thank you!”
(Now, isn’t it terrible how everyone is complaining about her, meanwhile she thinks she is liked and welcome.)

I think most people who work with the public can say there is that one person who hangs around chit chatting to everyone. I know it can be annoiying but I have now looked at in from a different angle. Thanks!

It is too easy for us to judge and be sellfish. When you approach each other with love we begin to see the whole story.

I use to be like that. I use to make fun with my friends. One day I saw this lady that was bent over and dirty look’n. As I got closer it was a lady we all new from the neighborhood. I dont know what happened to her but it was at that time that I stopped the jokes. I am now scared if I ever do it again I will end up just like them.

Lol Cheri. I did have someone that always came in. That is one of the situations that inspired this blurb. I think we should all take a moment out to see what is behind the door

Hello Randy. (Haven’t heard from you in a while)
Yes, we have to stop the assumptions. You know what the first three letters of that word is ….

Gosh Mark that is true!!! It is very selfish to judge. Love and compassion is always the best approach. I know dealing with people can be hard, but with alil patience and real interest, the outcome usually is good!
Thanks for sharing always!

Hi Franceska welcome! This is exactly what I am talking about. You never know where one comes from or where you yourself will end up…..
Thanks for your thoughts!
