“Dinner is over, the mess hall is closed!” {SLAM}
- We do not take into consideration that the man who was knocking at the door in hopes of no more than a biscuit, is someone’s dad or grandfather; that he served most of his life helping people who were less fortunate. And now, in his time of need, the door is literally being slammed in his face.

We can’t judge or just assume we know someone or where they have come from. It is sometimes easier to make that assumption then taking the time out to find out.

I am sure this happens more then we would like to acknowledge. We forget what others have done for us to get to where we are today!

Beth, sometimes I think we do this out of pure habit. Some are so use to doing it that it almost becomes second nature. And yes, there is a lack of paitence.

Hi Cheri! You are right! We should never forget how we have the things that we have today. Most of it is through the sweat and hard work of others!
