The Love of a Pet
Amanda Asks:
I really enjoy the time I spend with my dog. He makes me happy. How do you feel about pets?
Lucid’s Thoughts:
Though I am not necessarily an animal lover, I do love my dog. It is funny, recently the people in my life have been expressing love for their pets. I wrote about my dog if you would like to read about it.
He really has brought such joy into my life!

I absolutly love animals. Each one is different. They have so much love to give and so little they ask for in return. They have such beautiful spirits cause they dont do the things we as people do to each other.

I love my pet as well, there is just something about her that puts a smile on my face EVERYDAY! Thank God for pets! I am a much happier person with her!

I, personally CANNOT live my life without my best friend…with 4 kids and a crazy household…my dog instinctivly knows when I need some cheering up! I believe they (maybe some more than others) have an uncanny ability to read peoples feelings, and know what to do. Look into their eyes..and you see their soul! They will see yours too if you let them!

You know what Vicky, you are absolutely right about their souls. If you look close enough, you can see straight into them. I think the reason for that is…. We have a veil that blankets our soul’s exposure; animals do not.

I love animals too! This one time I was in a bad way, my kitten sade at the time notice I was going through a hard time. She sat in my lap and comforted me untill I felt better. I miss that cat but that memory will stay with me for eternity.

I enjoyed reading the tribute to your pet. It’s strange how these pets get us to say things in made-up languages. I do that all the time. Sometimes I baby-talk to them, like in a sweet voice, “Do you love your mommy?” If anyone heard me besides my husband, they’d think I’d have gone nuts!
