Sandy Asks:
I know they say our angels are there to guide and protect us. Do we need to specifically ask for extras?

Lucid’s Thoughts:
Hi Sandy, from what I have gathered from your question, I think you are asking if we need to ask for “extra” protection or guidance outside the regular daily routine. If this is what you meant, my answer would be; it couldn’t hurt. Though I know we are watched over regardless, I like to have focused protection at times.

For example: When I take long distant trips in the car, I always say a quick prayer, and ask that an angel be place directly on top of the car. If I close my eyes, I can see her. She holds onto the car tightly as the wind blows forcefully through her long brown, shiny hair. If I listen closely, I can faintly hear the wind pressing through her.

There is a wonderful saying out there that I love. It goes like this, “Don’t drive faster than your Angel can fly!” I try my hardest to abide by this because it is so true. How can they protect you if they are constantly trying to catch up to you; one split second of vulnerability is all it takes.  :)
